Celebration Bermuda is a medium to fine textured warm season perennial species with a creeping growth habit. It grows rapidly during the late spring, and summer, remains green into the fall and goes dormant after a hard frost. The blades of common Bermuda grass are grey-green, and generally fairly short. Although Bermuda grass has a fairly shallow root system, it spreads quickly through nodes and runners and is drought- and bug-tolerant.
Celebration Bermuda grass likes full sun better than shade, and tends to become dormant and turn brown in the winter.
Bermuda is a perennial grass grows in tropical, sub-tropical and the transition zones. Found extensively on lawns, golf courses, sports fields and arenas, reclamation areas, parks, coastal areas and pastures.
